Jelousy consumes you
If you had your way you would
Pluck out every eye that looks at me

And so you trap me with your toxic love
Claustraphobic love
Feeding on my affection
But its never enough
Unquenchable hunger for more
You want more than I could ever give

Sometimes you like to get aggressive
Just to watch me cower
You don't intend to hurt me
But love the sense of power

Your selfish love blinds you
To the fact that your hurting me
Trapping me
Why can't you let me be free?
If you love me you'd let me go
But I don't think you do
You need me to fill your void
And so you keep me locked up in you
