Whatever is meant with this sentence your translation seems fine to me!

all (the promises) we swore to keep

to spell (the word) zenith.

The spirit of the sentence is more "to keep each other" - they chose an expression which - in German also - fits better for things than for persons, - so with "to keep each other" you get the slightly strange notion of the sentence better -
