    Smile Learning of Kurdish Language (Sorani Dialect)

    Hellow everyone:

    Kurdish languages have diffrent dialects. (Sorani , Kurmanjy, Bahdiny, Hawrami and Zazaiy)...
    The most formal Dialect are Sorani and Kurmanjy.
    Sorani Uses in the north of Iraq (South of Great Kurdistan) .The city of (Sulaimani, Hawler (Irbil) and some parts of Karkuk, and also The east of Kurdistan (the part of Kurdistan in Iran)....

    Kurmanjy uses in (North (Turky)and west(Syriya) of Kurdistan and some cityes in Iraq like (Dhok and Zaxo)....

    My dialect is Sorani, coz It is the most formal dialect especially in Sulaimani, that is why I am focusing on this dialect...

    Part I :

    Subject= Bkar بکەر
    --------------------------
    Mn من= I
    Ema ئێمه= We
    To تۆ= You
    Ewa ئێوه = Your
    Aw ئەو = She or He
    Awan ئەوان= They
    ------------------------------
    Verb= Frman or Krdar فرمان یان کردار
    -------------------------------
    Verb of (go)...
    Verb=Frmany (Roshtn) فرمانی (رۆشتن)

    I am going = Mn darom من دەڕۆم
    We are going = Ema daroin ئێمه دەڕۆین
    You are going= To daroit (Singular) ewa daron (plural) تۆ دەڕۆیت -- ئەوان دەڕۆن
    S/he is going= Aw darwat ئەو دەڕوات
    Thay are going = Awan daron ئەوان دەڕۆن

    (School) =( Qutabkhana) قوتابخانه*

    To = Bo بۆ

    I am going to school = Mn darom bo Qutabkhana. من دەڕۆم بۆ قوتابخانه
    We are going to school= Ema daroin bo Qutabkhana. ئێمه دەڕۆین بۆ قوتابخانه
    S/he is going to school= Aw darwat bo Qutabkhana. ئەو دەڕوات بۆ قوتابخانه

    Want (demawet) دەمەوێت.. Buy( Krin) کڕین...
    Sell ( Froshtn)فرۆشتن... Say (wtin).وتن..
    Love ( Xoshawisty).خۆشەویستی.. Like (hazkrdn)حەزکردن...

    I want my books.
    " Ktebakanm dawet"
    کتێبه*کانم ده*وێت
    Book = Kteb کتێب
    .....................

    I buy some books.
    " Handek Kteb dakrm"
    هەندێک کتێب ده*کڕم

    Some = handek هەندێک


    ( I want to buy some books.) =( Damawet handek Kteb bkrm.) دەمەوێت هەندێک کتێب بکڕم

    ....................................

    I sell some Books.
    " Handek Kteb dafroshm"
    هەندێک کتێب دەفرۆشم

    ( I want to sell some books.) = ( Damwet handek Kteb bfroshm.) دەمەوێت هەندێک کتێب بفرۆشم
    ..............................

    I say sometings.
    " handek shtm wt"
    هەندێک شتم وت
    somethings= Handek sht. هەندێک شت

    ..................................
    I Love you.
    " Khoshm daweit"
    خۆشم دەوێیت
    ..............................
    I like Books.
    " Hazm la kteba"

    حەزم لە کتێبه*

    Can you write also whit arabic letters plss.
    The kurdish language uses also tashkil?
    Can you show me some dialogues songs cause i see some words don't have vowels looks hard to pronounce Like this : shtm,dakrm

    Dear natan,

    I is really nice you are teaching us Kurdish.I am a Kurd but through our problems in Iran I haven't been able to learn my mother tongue! I know English,French and even a little German but I just can speak Kurdish(Kalhor dialect which refers to Kermanshah and Ilam) but I understand Sorani dialect. I really really want to learn to write Kurdish(any of the dialect above is pleased to me).I need your help barasti

    Sorry I can't translate this song, coz It is Urdu and Persian Languages...
    I'm sure that's not Farsi. Seems to be Dari, the language they speak in Afghanistan.

    Hi my friend I'm Élite from Algeria I'm 16 and nice to meet you my great mother (peace on her soul) was a Kurd but I'm not so for honoring her soul I want to learn Kurdish and I'm very glad to see your collaboration for learn us so my bro Natan I need your help for translate a Kurdish song called : chopy Fatah û karwan kamil - be soz

    This song is a very old Tajik folk so is from Tajikistan

    Hi I am from Latvia but really want learn Kurdish. So far I know just some words but when its come to the phrases I am stuck. Any chance to make it easier? May know how better to learn phrases in Kurdish? Tnx
