I don't get the meaning of your translation "deepest well"? Is "brunn" not "brown" and if not what do you mean with "deepest well"?

I think there is a typo in the lyrics...
Brunn means well, while brun means brown.. And it simply doesn't make sense as 'his eyes the deepest well', I'm pretty sure it should be brun instead

He thought she meant that his eyes were as deep as a well. Mysterious, deep eyes. I could be totally wrong though

So grammatically both versions (brun or brunn) would work in Swedish even though brun is an adjective and brunn is a noun?

If one would say the sentence "Hans ögon den djupaste brunn", it would sound weird.
The correct way to say it would be "Hans ögon är som den djupaste brunn" (His eyes are like the deepest well).

However, since she stated in the previous sentence that his mind is like the sun, you don't really need to repeat the är som/are like part in the next sentence (and thus making it grammatically correct) to understand what she means. I think she just skips that part to make the lyrics fit the melody.

When I first saw the lyrics, I interpreted them like this:

För hans sinne är som solen
'Cause his mind is like the sun
Hans ögon (är som) den djupaste brunn
His eyes (are like) the deepest well

"den djupaste brunn/the deepest well" (as in a well you get water from) is the correct version
