First of all a Million thanks for translating the song. You are the best. Must say very touchy song this one huh!.

I liked the song. I am weird may be. Why is Ceylan not a celebrated singer/artist in Turkey? Gosh I wish I could visit Turkey and stay there for like year so that I can learn more.

I like Sebnem, Emre, Sertab, Özlem... is my choice too bad??

I listened to the song myself in order to check the lyrics (it was okay except a few mistakes) and I must confess that I liked it a bit too! A very meaningful one.
Who says Ceylan is not a celebrated singer? She is quite so. Lots of people like her and her songs.
Your choice is great but "Ceylan" looks strange among them. I already knew a few singers you like and that's why I'm surprised.

Well I am exploring the Turkish music and probably judging based on what clicks to me. I am a blues song guy, like blues a lot. And when I heard this song I imagined the song would be full of sad things and bingo!
