Also की and का. Is the difference because of grammatical gender?

I'm trying. The Hindi uses postpositions instead of prepositions, and they agree with the next word in the sentence.

Examples:
मेरी बेटी का घर: My daughter's home (घर is masculine).
गाँव की दुकान: Village shop (गाँव is masculine, but दुकान [shop] is feminine).

On the other hand, a question: what does बात चल रही थी mean?

It is Incorrect

It should be - संबंध and not संबंधों (which is plural)

And why is जाएंगे in the plural?

संबंध is like this only it remains the same when not followed by preposition
