    what does mean ?
    What that aunty does...

    Well it's like she is encouraging her because she is dancing so well...

    Well there is a superstition kind of thing that if something is too well and so many people praise it something bad happens to it. Suppose a baby is very pretty so u might here people say "He or she is so cute, Nazar naa lage" may bad eyes stay away from him.

    So while saying so they may do this gesture...if u notice that it is done as if swaying something aside...these are bad jealous eyes...

    It is also called Nazar Utarna Sometimes people may put a black dot on the baby with maskara (specially elderly women) or anything dear to them like a new car bike etc.

    Though a superstion in olden days...these days saying Tumhei Nazar na lage is more like an expression which means may God Protect you.

    In the above scene she does so because she is really impressed by the dancing of the girl.

    Hope it helps..But still anything not clear feel free to ask

    Namaste

    Have you ever heard someone say
    "Hold your ears and say sorry"

    That's what he is doing when he holds his ears a gesture asking for sorry.

    Second gesture where he joins both hands.

    Now this can be used in 2 situatuions.

    While you greet or welcome someone. U join ur hands as u say Namaste

    Or

    While asking for forgiveness ...so here he is pleading the woman to forgive him so that's why he joins his hands.

    Forgive me in hindi is Mujhey Maaf Kardo

    so combining the two gestures he says

    I am sorry... forgive me please .

    I hope that helps

    First he says Shukriya meaning Thank You

    then when they shake hands I listened 4 times but I am not able to comprehend that because he is not saying it properly. Are U sure it's Hindi?

    minutes later he says in Spanish, what the other actor said: "greeting my position not to me" (the thing is one is a daliht the other is caste man, but they are not in India, they are in Brazil, so for respect "their business" he only shake hands)

    original language is Portuguese, but is subbed into Spanish, I think that's why you do not understand his hindi

    Greetings. Iīve found some translations of a sentence, Can someone tell me what is the right one?

    katta nahi ub akely tanha safar
    1) I can't finish this journey without you
    2) Now I'm alone the time on this journey doesn't pass
    katthi nahi ub akely tanha safar
    The lonely journey does not diminish
    kat-ta nahi ab akeyley, tanha safar
    I'm not alone in this journey

    Kaatna = To Cut

    Kat + ta = Katta = it Cuts

    eg. Meri Tankhaa se Tax katta hai= tax is deducted from my salary

    Ped Mat Kaato = Don't Cut the tree.

    Zindagi kat rahi hai = Life is passing.

    Katta nahi = It doesn't cut or pass

    ab = now

    Akele = alone

    Tanha = Lonely

    Safar = Journey.

    Combining all words U get a sentence that means

    Now it's hard to spend the journey of life alone.

    lit. speaking

    The Speaker doesn't want to live alone.

    I have a question about this translation: I wonder why "I witness" is repeated, because "koi nahi hai" means (I think) "nobody is".

    tere siwa mabood-e-haqeqi, koi nahi hai koi nahi
    "there is No Real God Except you, I witness, I witness"

    Thank you very much.

    Koi nai as u said is There's no one.

    The translation could also have been that way it won't be wrong.

    But may be here By saying I witness the speaker is trying to testify the statement.

    So both ways are correct.

    For eg. Bhagvan sarv shaktiman hai..aur ussey uncha koi nahi hai...koi nahi hai..

    God is the All Mighty...and no one is Higher than Him...No One No One...

    When I repeat the last words again and again I am just trying to emphasis my point it doesn't have much effect on the meaning of the sentence.

    Can someone check this translation which Iīve found in the Net? I canīt find the precise sense:

    Mohabbat Jo Ki Hai
    Like U Loved Me

    Vafaaye Bhi Kar
    Be Gratefull Da Same Way

    Kabhi Na Judaa Ho
    Never Depart From Me

    Duaaen Bhi Karna
    Make A Wish (this clause hasnīt much sense with the rest of song).

    Thanks in advance.

    Basically there are two sentences.

    Mohabbat Jo Ki Hai Vafaaye Bhi Kar

    Since you have loved fulfill the promises too or be faithful too

    Kabhi Na Judaa Ho Duaaen Bhi Karna
    May we never part, Pray for this too.

    or Simply
    Pray we never part.

    Thanks! Other questions, with your permission:

    Hum Deewane Hain Tere
    M Crazy For U

    A woman also sings this clause, but I think the song refers to a madman. That is, if she would refer to herself, it would be: "Hum deewani hain tere". Am I right?

    jaa Rahe Ho Laut Ke Aana
    U R Leaving But Promise To Come Back

    Iīm not sure about the strength of this imperative.

    Sure Why not

    Well pl of Mein = Hum
    Pl of Deewana or Deewani = Deewaney

    Since She is Begining the sentence with Hum the noun that follows will also be pl that is DEEWANEY.

    jaa Rahe Ho.... Laut Ke Aana = Thought U r going (now)...but do return.

    Lautna or Laut ke ana or Laut kar ana = to Return.

    Thank you very much. I yet am not clear about the plural of deewani. If the plural of अच्छी is also अच्छी, why is the plural of दीवानी deewane?

    दीवानी(deewani)=crazy PL
