Well feel free to ask anything
Well the reason I see is
1. Definitely influence of English is there. It is taught in schools colleges etc.
2. In daily use instead of using Pure Hindi we use a blend of words from various languages. For example Arabic, Persian, English etc. Over hundreds of years these words have become a part of Hindi.
3. English words are also used because of ease of use. for example the Pure Hindi word for Toilet is Shauchalya here as you can see Toilet is more convenient to say.
@Zahra I wanna see Devdas too ...and I was surprised to see the novel at the library
Now my question (please don't laugh) : how do spell allright / good ? Is it ji/ gior something like that ? I've heard it in a movie and I'm curious how it's spelled
