    I've found out the same word in another song for Fairouz :

    إنتي زهرة في بلدتنا .. انتي بهجتنا
    لما بتمري بجيرتنا .. بترقص خيمتنا
    بتقولك يا نورة .. يا أجمل منظورة
    انتي دايماً حلوة .. فرحانة ومسرورة
    لكن يا نورة .. فيها حزورة
    بحياتك قولي .. منين هالتنورة ؟
    ضجوا النسوان .. لما لمحوها
    عند البستان وقفوا سألوها :
    يا نورة جبتي تنورة
    يا نورة هدية مقفورة

    You are welcome

    Just be careful when writing word shoghl & shaghla(شغل/شغلة)

    First one means work,labour

    ex:3ende shoghl kteer=I have a lot of work
    There is also nice expression in levantine dialect
    ex:shoof shoghlak!!=Mind your own business!!!

    Second one shaghla means issue,matter,thing

    ex:hayde shaghla mnee7a=this is a good thing
    ex:hay shaghla jdeeda=that is a new issue

    oh Nora i brought a skirt
    يا نورة هدية مقفورة

    Oh nora this gift has been discovered( in the meaning) I knew that what
    I brought u is what u wanted

    It makes sense in this case although I guess the translation should be Oh Nora you've brought a skirt. But what about hal ghandoora ma2foora ? it doesn't make sense

    ومالت حد شفافا نسمة من النسمات
    ???????????????????????????????????????
    صار يغني وصار يدور
    He startet singing and moving in circle

    Wow that is not so easy stuff

    My try

    انبارح لما شافا جاية عالكرمات
    Yesterday when he saw her coming to orchard/vineyard

    ومالت حد شفافا نسمة من النسمات

    This is pretty difficult ,what I know

    Verb مال =maal means to bend/incline,to be in favour of....
    حد=someone
    شفاف means -transparent or see -through
    نسمة=is a "breeze of wind"

    صار يغني وصار يدور
    He started singing and turning around

    George - I'm asking, but the people I've asked so far said ma2foora is used to describe a piece of ground

    also, could shfaf be referring to the lips?
