For me not much sense.
if I force it I may think of iron horse as a car, snake as a metro , crocodile as a buss, poet bats as people having trouble to sleep and looking out from windows. No idea about fly thing.
:P
Did I force it too much?
Sade - your translation was perfect! And just the way I like it.
Afet - your 'I have great taste in music' made me LOL.
Ercü - you're a hero
Parti - I loved your corrections and questions.
Nice song so who's going to tell me what ululate means? is it the crying out after a person thing?
I just realised there was a small mistake in the original lyrics of Ormanlar Kralı. Instead of "sokaklarda" in "Köhne barlarında,çamurlu sokaklarda" he says "bataklarda"...so I just want to check that this means "in the muddy swamps"?
