can someone please tel me a list of arabic swearwords and their meaning and how to use them in arabic phrases.
It's not a good idea.
No, it doesn't metter.
Lol I actually cant believe this thread
Why do you want to know? And what exactly do you want to know? Common insults like idiot, pest, etc?
oof minak o min il egyptian!
Levantine: a7ti
Its not a swear word
A7it/a7ti is like get lost, go away, I just changed the dialect! Its emshi in masri!
I noticed about such threads big times, if there is any language forum they show up sooner or later. I think, from past experience that they want words like f**k and so. but it can differ.
I can't actually get why they want them. I don't think they've learned everything related to the subject language and now came up to know the last thing about it.
Do they plan to use them? If so, then it is a looooooooool when some one who doesn't speak a language like a native speaker uses such words.
George - oh no! a7ti literally means move, get lost, get going so if your younger sibling say is annoying you, you would say a7it min wiji, get out of my face I gave Czarek the same word he wrote but in a different dialect
LLS - haha I love it when my asian friends say 'habla', its idiot, but for some reason they say 7ibla, pregnant
Words like the f words are very serious in arabic though, there isnt even a possibility of a lol, native or not, its far too crude and insulting!
So swear words in Arabic are very harsh, much more than in English?
Isn't there an equivalent for like damn, hell, jerk, shut up, s***? Those aren't really that bad
Hello,
Oh yes: you really can't use F. words ! It is really really dangerous. You can not even say '7mar" 'idiot' without having big problems.
In a way, this is something really good because in lot of language we swear a lot forgetting the meaning and the "weight" of words.
In arabic though, when you are mad at someone you evocate a lot God and family (it is true for Morocco at least).
Would el 7aram for exemple: son of sin which is very funny when your father tells you that because basically, it would mean you were not "created" in 7alal... (hihihi)
You can say Allah i 3tak... May god gives you.... and chose the end of the sentence.
My favorite one and the one I use most is "7ayawan" (animal)
I won't go too deep in the subject because ladies do not swear and especially in arabic.
Whatever you will learn pay attention where you say these words
Loool Sienna loved the ladies do not swear bit
Like she said, those are very harsh, but common insults are normally animal based:
7mar - donkey (i.e idiot)
haywan - animal
kalb - dog
allah ya5dak - may God take you
shut up - i5ras / sid ni3ak
Oh wait, am I meant to be telling you guys the insults? oops...
in Iraqi shut up=enchab
it's so funny right?
The hours of pain have yielded good,
Which prosperous days refused;
As herbs, though scentless when entire,
Spread fragrance when they’re bruised.
Well maybe it is good to know. I mean that's what being fluent is. You have to know everything :P
Plus what if someone calls me that or I hear someone say it? I wanna know what it means. I don't necessarily need to ever us it lol
So can you call someone a khanzeer? :P
You gotta a point...
As it is consider as self-defense we can deliver you the secrets of Arab swearing
But as we said... Ladies don't swear. This is a man business
Just few... Close you eyes don't read oh innocent people
"Allah i 7lak jed imek"
May god burns the grand father of your mother...
Na3l din d'waldeek:
Curse on your parent religion (this could be translated as bloody....)
It is always a family affair...
Na3l din d' babak el kalb...
Bloody religion of your father the dog
I am really ashamed now but it is for your self-defense.
