Thanks for the translation and the lyric correction. I couldn't quite figure out what he was saying before but it didn't sound like "ağlamadan bağardım yıllara".

I've got two questions:
what does Yegane mean? unique? coz I've looked it up in a dictionary and got nothing.
and also what does "millet" mean? everybody?

Yes. You yourself have already given the answers But "millet" means also "the public "or "nation". "Yegane" is not a common word but "millet" is.
