Alejandro Sanz - Stuck at the tough ones!

I'm working hard to build up my collection of translated songs on my website
www.alejandrosanz4englishspeakers.com but because my Spanish is limited there are complicated songs that I just can't work out. I would really appreciate if anyone could give any of these songs a go:

I'm glad you like the website. I looked at the links you gave me and they don't really know how to translate the difficult parts. I could translate it word for word but I think someone who knows Spanish well would understand what's actually meant. I think some of it is a little slangy but if no one can translate them then I will just have to guess at it and hope it goes well lol!

***In that song he is "playing" with some words, that are written and pronunced similar but the have different meaning, remember the name of the song "no es lo mismo / it is not the same". There are also words that seem to mean the same in english but which in spanish they have subtle differences in meaning and use and this difference cannot be correctly transfered in the english language. In general, the whole song is a play on words..

well,it's a long story: i am from Greece but my mom is from Argentina. Moreover, i have studied spanish and have the final degree in my country..Finally, i have seen too many movies, heard enough songs and spoken with a lot of latinos to have a very very good general background of the language..

Why do you sometimes translate que as because like in the sentences venga que se va and que te vas, Fidel

Why does tacao translate to crazy?

Sobrar means to exceed - could that sentence read 'it exceeds the money for this broken heart? or would that be saying something different - because I know its about Cuba I'm thinking the point is that money can't cure a broken heart but that seems different from how you've translated the line.

''que" is very often used as "because", in a lot of songs and even in every day speech. It's very common and it's not just slang..You just figure out what 'QUE' means every time from the point of the sentence..

tocao = tocado

the literal meaning of tocado is either 1)crazy-nuts or 2)slightly injured. It is very probable that in this song it only meant injured. But i wasn't sure and when i found the word alone i liked "crazy|" better

No, the point is exactly the one you understood: that no exceeding amount of money can ever possibly mend the broken heart. I just couldn't come up with this way of translating it in english at the time and i wrote it down literally.
