some girl sent me a message and said "so q se siente ser tan querido con los hispanos?"
what's that mean?
it seems like "so what's it feel like to be so close with hispanic people?"
some girl sent me a message and said "so q se siente ser tan querido con los hispanos?"
what's that mean?
it seems like "so what's it feel like to be so close with hispanic people?"
It means, 'how does it feel to be so loved by Hispanic people?'
These are videos of Steven & Andres from Mariachi Vargas giving a talk/demo Thursday night in San Antonio - I know all the music but can't understand what they are talking about. Could someone please translate the spoken parts?
I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

Haha, well if you mean differences between Argentinian & Spanish, there are a lot. However, in Argentina, we call what we speak "castellano," which is the Spanish that was spoken throughout the Americas because the king & queen who "conquered" the Americas were from Castilla.
I guess the main difference is that almost all other countries use "tu" & we use "vos" which comes from "vosotros."
I think this site should explain it all: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argentinian_Spanish
nunca te olvides que pase lo que pase

what does hacer la sed mean?
Hmmmm.... "tener sed" means "being thirsty" or "having thirst". I'm not sure about "hacer la sed". "Hacer" means "to make".
always with the verb "tener + noun" for person
tener frio ex. tengo frío
tener hambre ex.tiene hambre
tener calor ex. tenemos calor
tener sed ex. tengo sed
but you can say too "estar+ adjective" for person
estar helado ex. estoy helado
estar hambriento ex. está hambrienta (ella)
estar acalorado ex. estamos acalorados
estar sediento ex. estoy sediento
the meaning is the same
or in an impersonal way (hacer + noun)
hace frío
hace calor
hace viento
always the 3rd. pers. sing. as in English
"hacer la sed" is wrong

Could someone translate this sentence:
si con mucho gusto yo te lo compro no te preocupes y ya te diré cuanto seria solo mandame tu dirección para enviartelo.
And then put this into Spanish:
Please tell me the best way to send you the money for the CD and mailing costs. I can send it by PayPal, mail you a money order or use any service that you suggest. Tell me what you prefer. In the U.S. the CD costs about $20.00 (270.00 MXP). Is this about what you will pay in Mexico?
Thanks!
