    Default Looking for a persian saying !

    Hi all , hope all is good with you guys ,
    I don't know if this is the right place I should ask in , but there's this persian old saying (proverb) that I can't remember and I hope someone here knows it..

    it's about starting a new table setting or arrangment , which basically means to drop the previous one and to start anew

    i'm not sure if it includes the word table or no, but this is what i remember about it ,

    anyone can help ??????? please

    thanx in advanced

    i mean the regular table (piece of furniture) , imagine u have a table for 10 years,, arranged and set the same all these years ,and the proverb is said to advise you to just pull the matress from under everything and start a brand new arrangment or table settings!! <<< in constrat to a new begining in life!

    where did u hear it?

    Salma hello;
    i searched alot but i couldnt find any thing so i asked my literature teacher and he said this ,that is similar by meaning but it has no "table" in it:

    بباید کرد هر چیز کهنه ، تازه
    bebayad kard har chize kohne taze
    you have to change all the old thing to a new one

    *specially thanks to Mr. Moti'ee my literature teacher

    **i hope it to be what you want but if its not ,tell me to search more...
