I think, with "Милко Калайджиев - За да те забравя" and "Преслава - За да те забравя" you already knew two possible answers for "Rinat Bar - I'm waiting for you" (רינת בר - חיכיתי לך) - actually You managed it to forget them

Both, Milko and Preslava are singing "... е губаво". Maybe I should already know the answer, but I don't...: Is this a obligatory rule, or regional dialect, or only one of different possibilities, to substitite "х" with "г" after vowels (I knew it from Russian up to know)?

Bulgarian is not like Russian in that respect.If it's written x then it's pronounced x

хубав, хубаво (hubavo) is from persian origin, "khub" is "good", "beautiful"in persian;
герой, (geroj) is from english "hero"...

And hero, I thought, came (directly?) from Greek (heros). Can I say Гамбург and Гелмут instead of Хамбург (Hamburg) and Хелмут (Helmut) in Bulgarian? Or is it totally wrong in any case?

Yeah, I'm sorry Athanatos but the suggestion that geroi comes from the English word ''hero'' is laughable.
And where does ''hero'' come from?I agree with Mozart on this one.

Regarding the other songs in the thread...yosis why are you so sure they are based on Bulgarian songs?

You're right.
But "герой" is spelled as "херой" in old bulgarian texts, as in macedonian today.
Sometimes bulgarian is unexplainable

I made a check in a distionary - there's "херой" also, it says: "херой - вж.герой" (heroy - see geroy).
