In light of Mother's Day, I thought you guys may find this particular song interesting. This is my latest song and I wrote because I'd get a butt-load of extra credit in my English class for writing it and singing it in front of the class. I know that the positive side of what I'm trying to say with it doesn't show through the whole song, but try to undersand what I'm really trying to say. Here it is.
I'm sorry.
I made you think I didn't care.
Don't worry.
The guilt is more than I can bear.
Remember
The times we had so long ago.
Remember
You loved me and always let it show.
Pre-chorus:
I said those things
Before I understood,
Before I knew
How much you sacrificed.
Chorus:
You are my all,
The one who brought me here,
Believed in me when
No one else would.
I owe you one thing,
That is my life.
So thank you for holding
On to me.
I've noticed
You cry when you are all alone.
Could it be
The memories from long ago?
Just know this,
I'm thankful for your loving care
Endlessly
Wiping away all my tears.
Pre-chorus
Chorus
Memories born and
Seeing your face
Fills me with
Gratitude inside!
Chorus
There you go. Making stuff that's this happy and poppy really isn't my style, but hey! It's getting me an A!!!
