    Question SOLVED: Oldish rock song

Hey guys, need your help with a song, I think it's from the 80's. Kinda sounds like madness or the clash would sing it, British band I'd say. It's a popular song (so popular I can't figure it out lol) always played at parties or cover gigs.

Anyways, the only lyrics I know from it "It's time for (don't know the next word) sally/johnny??? - ooooooohhhhh yaaaaaa"

Chorus is: "bapbapbapbapbadada bapbapbadada yeah bapbapbapbapbadada bapbapbadada "

The background music isn't too far removed from Iggy Pops Lust for Life, if that helps.

    Thanks!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by no singing in the chorus?

Chorus is: "bapbapbapbapbadada bapbapbadada yeah bapbapbapbapbadada bapbapbadada"
    Ρεμπέτικο για πάντα. Μάγκες είμαστε.

    Nope not that either.

No singing as such they are just saying that bapbapbap bit over...

They are a male band, and the singing bit is quite fast, as in, they are singing it fast.

Yeah, I think you're spot on there jlb112, it's strange how someone can hear "It's time for Sally" instead of "This Town Called Malice"

Gotta agree - Lust For Life similarity, ba ba ba ba and Town Called Malice can sound like Time Called Alice to some
