    Default Harraga - Khaled

    I cried for my kids
    I cried for my country
    I cried for my kids
I saw my tears on my cheek
I've grown them and taught them
I got old, saw so many things and I got tired
The happiness I wished for them has no limit
They said "mum, dad we need to go there is no future here"
The taste has lost it taste
Fish are better than warms (it means that they'd rather die in the sea trying to cross to Europe than dying in their country)
    Fish are better than warms

I've lost my kids at a young age
Reda and Haddi got drowned in the sea
I've lost my kids in their young age
Reda and Haddi got drowned in the sea
My kindle got off and the stars are gone
My kindle got off and the sky is cloudy

    I cried for my kids
    I cried for my country
    I cried for my kids
I saw my tears on my cheek
I've grown them and taught them
I got old, saw so many things and I got tired
The happiness I wished for them has no limit
they said "mum, dad we need to go there is no future here"
The taste has lost it taste
Fish are better than warms (it means that they d'rather die in the sea trying to cross to Europe than dying in their country)
    Fish are better than warms

I cried and cried until I went blind
I searched everywhere and I couldn't get them back
I cried and cried until I went blind
I searched everywhere and I couldn't get them back
Oh god have mercy we're still resisting

    I cried for my kids
    I cried for my country
    I cried for my kids
I saw my tears on my cheek
I've grown them and taught them
I got old, saw so many things and I got tired
The happiness I wished for them has no limit
They said "mum, dad we need to go there is no future here"
The taste has lost it taste

    Fish are better than warms

I'm enjoying doing this please don't hesitate asking for translations.
If there are some terms related to the culture here in our area, I'm from Morocco and I live in a city near to Algeria so we have some kind of similar culture.

Harragas, (from Arabic حراقة, ḥarrāga, ḥarrāg, "those who burn" (their immigration papers)) are North African migrants who attempt to illegally immigrate to Europe or to European-controlled islands in makeshift boats.[1] The name comes from their practice of burning their immigration papers if they are about to be captured.[2]
