That was a TOUGH one.......
You have to know that Alkis Alkaiou (nickname of Vagelis Liaros) is a poet.
But the most annoying thing about him is that he always writes using puzzle-stories.
Here's the MOST famous of his songs, translated by veronika_pooh it's called "Erotiko" -> http://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/gr...tml#post231547
And you can listen to the song in the following link -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yrn31qYIbbg
I've tried to solve Erotiko in the past but I just couldn't.....
Title: Porto Riko (Puerto Rico)

Sung by Vasili Papakonstantinou
CD: The sikoni (Minos - EMI 1994)
Track no: 03
(He was an) Exotic and wandering figure that flowrishes again under the moonlight,
cause he spent all his life by frantically asking for another kind of life
I remember him laughing like a child, and saying while balancing on a bicycle saddle
"we will transform this world into what we want, before the world do the opposite to us"
But the world keeps rolling without our approval
the roads are blocked, it's time for the policemen to hunt the "thieves"
they told him "You should take care of your cell", and afterwards
while he was outside (of the prison) he was feeling more loneliness than before, but he was still smiling.
A "drunk" night, he gets pissed off, he burns diaries and diplomas,
on daybrake he embarks on a "pirate" ship, (in order) to live the directing of his own life
Algiers, Alexandria, South Africa, at Amsterdam for some time
love affairs were gliding into his eyes, as if they were sea foam on a sailor's fingers
At Puerto Rico (spent) some thoughtless years
and he scattered the leaves of his heart,
in dark and notorious basements,
as if he was looking for a light through his disgrace.
A crazy night in a blues-bar, he listened his music played out of tune,
the owners kicked him out to the street, as soon as they saw the spots on his body,
And Sylvia that passionately loved him, she was always by his side,
frantically asking into his arms, for his heaven as well as for his hell.
He set sail one night with fool moon, and at his final letter he had written to me,
"My friend, it worths to live in a dream even if you got burnt by it's own fire"
Years passed, I can no longer remember, if he was called Ernesto or Niko
and also forgive me that I forgot, If he was lost at Μετς or at Puerto Rico (Μετς is a neighborhood of Athens)
As for me I'm always here, having the flame of your eyes as flag,
tonight it's so nice that we met each other, I like sailing together.

"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"
