regarding the last verse could it be translated into : "Tell me my love (how) the deprived days have started" ?

hmm... is it like "when/how the greedy days that deprived us from one another started/flourished" ?

I guess no. I thinks she wants he tells her how the deprived/needy days of her country started. I guess this song was written during the lebanese civil war
