Default Hor Gazija Bužim - Džennetska hurija (BS > EN)

My last request for today. Again Bosnian but quite a different style than Hanka, and some more religious ("dzamije"), it seems.

But I like it. Translation into English would be very nice

Hor Gazija Bužim - Džennetska hurija:

    Pokraj nase dzamije, male, seoske,
Procvjetale krosnje lipove i sve mirise.
Pod lipom, na kamenu cekam te....

Pogled svoj sakrivas, kao srna nemirna,
Dzennetska si hurija, sa osmjehom na usnama.

    Zvjezdom kitis uvojke, svoje, plave,
    Njezna poput zelene, vlati trave,
Cedna si k’o pahulja, malena, bijela.

Pogled svoj sakrivas, kao srna nemirna,
Dzennetska si hurija, sa osmjehom na usnama.

And no - I don't intend to start any Islamization debate here. I've got enough from Germany.

    Džennetska hurija:
    Dženet - (Islamic) Heaven
    Hurija - beauty, bella.
Džennetska hurija: promised beautiful virgo with big eyes who waits a faithful Muslim solder in heaven and be only his.... something like that. (What a promise!)

    Heaven's beauty

Next to our small village mosque
the lime trees are in blossom and its scent is in the air.
Under the lime tree, (sitting) on a stone, I'm waiting for you...

You're hiding your eyes (look of your eyes), like an antsy doe,
you're heaven's beauty, with a smile on your lips.

Stars are embroidered in your blond curls,
you're tender like green blades of grass,
Chaste as a flake of snow, petite, white.

You're hiding your eyes, like an antsy doe,
you're heaven's beauty, with a smile on your lips.

I didn't expect anything else Our old Germanic ancients had a similar vision. To die honorably in the battle was the entry for a big drinking bout with Wodden (Odin, Wotan) himself But it's normal: As Tacitus reported nearly 2000 years ago, the old Germanics bathed and played together with their girls and women in the same river and at the same time. They didn't have to dream how they might look alike under their clothes. But to drink together with Wodden wasn't that banal and defenitely worth to die for them

Thank you, Ina! You did me a big favor

What do you mean? Bathing together or drinking together?

Hehe, yes indeed. But he, Tacitus, also reported they were acting very chaste and ingenuous. It must be our climate here
