It's difficult to translate simple lyrics with strange meanings.

The one think I wanna add is that is probably better to translate
"μια εποχή τελειώνει"
as
"a period ends"
since it's eitherway talking about a personal period or a social/community's period.

i translated that word as "season" because of the "ice melting" and "days of light that are about to come", in my mind was an image of transition from winter to spring
