Again; new song by Yara? Which album is it from? I give it a shot, again:
بكرا قلبه عليِ يدقّ ويكشف شعوره ويردّ
Bokra galbah 3aly yedegg, w yekshef sh3ourah w yeredd
Tomorrow, his heart will beat for me, and he'll discover its poems and response
W yetenazel 3an ghorourah w ye3ref enn allah a7egg
And he will give up his pride and he will know, that I was allowed by God
Bokra yendam 3a elly kan w yenzef ashwag w 7anan
Tomorrow he will be sorry for what happened and and he will withdraw love and desire
W yerja3 y7ebb el ayady law la3ab fih el zaman
And he will come back and love my hands, if he tricked them before.
7atta law darbah 6oweel, 7atta law 9abry geleel
Even if his path is long, even if my patience is little
Ana 7a66eetah bi rasy ma asheelah mesta7el
I put him on top of my head, I did not consider it impossible
Law ya3aned aw ykabr w yagetl fi galby el mesha3r
If he were stubborn or obeyed, or if he killed the poems in my heart
A9bar ana w at7ammel w atba3ah 3an 6eeb kha6r
I am patient and endure it and follow him for his good sake
Ya ma meshshany warah w ya ma ta33abny ma3ah
Oh! how after him I am disgraced, but oh! how I get tired with him
Kell la76'ah w kell sa3ah, kent a7lam fi legah
Every moment and every hour, I was dreaming of meeting him
Gadd ma howwa 3aneed, gadd ma shougy yezeed
How stubborn he is, and how my love enlarges
Lazem yedhoub fi gharamy w hadha ho beit el ge9eed
He needs to fall for my love and this here is the home of the poem

He will/ should fall in my love and this here is the home of the poem (the point)

So, as I understand the root of "شعر" can mean "hair", "poem" and "feeling"?
Jesus Christ, good lord and his mother, Maria, the innocent; what the ****?- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee. -
Both hair and poem have same writing but different pronounciation
Hair:شعر Sha3r (having fatha over shin)
Poem: شعر Shi3r (having kasra under shin)
But for feeling
And yes they all have the same root of ش ع ر
There might also many other words having the same root e.g.

I really liked that you know the story of roots

Oh great. I read somewhere, that with 30,xxx words, Arabic is the language with the richest vocabulary.
Yes, of course. I always study the linguistical history of my learning languages. And to know about "roots" seems essential for learning the Arabic language, now does it not?
- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee. -
Ofcourse if you intend to really and fully understand as well as know the language, it's important.
Languagesso how many languages do you know? If I may ask you...
Good Luck

Turkish, German, English
I am learning currently French, Spanish, Croatian, Arabic, a bit Armenian and soon German Sign Language.- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee. -
Mashallah
You're really brilliant.... And how old are you if I may ask?
How long have you been learning each language, and may I ask you about the way you follow for learning?
So many question I wrote down...
Any way Good Luck with new language
The One Who Doesn't Thank Others, Doesn't Thank God -
Of course, you may ask. I turned 17 about a month ago.
It's hard to tell, I am a native Turkish and have been born in Germany, and English is like a mother tongue to me; I do not know why.
But, I can say from experience, that I need about 6 months to have embedded the rough grammar of a language and speak simple sentences, another 6 to have a solid reading and listening comprehension and the following months/years I spend on specific idioms.
Arabic is, by far, the hardest language I have ever learned!
I learn largely by listening to contemporary music of the particular language. Or, rather: I come to learn a language by the music I listen to.When I stumble into music I like in a foreign language, I am mostly always tempted to learn that language.

I see where you got this passion to learn languages
Mashallah, you're still so young and know all these languages... "Knock the wood"... then I think you should work in sth related to international relationships, don't you think so?
BUt really where do you find time to study school stuff

Of course, nothing is better than actually speaking to a native dude/gal in that specific language, but as Arabs are not very often found around here, I am fine with music. What other techniques would you recommend?
I will, however, study linguistics and plan on being a linguist, doing researches and stuff.
Oh, yes, the lovely dialects. They make the language so interesting! So many nuances; the same language yet sometimes mutually unintelligible! That gives me the thrills- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee. -

either from teaching books or from the web, and for me I'm still using the teaching books (Tomer center book), also I listen to series thought sometimes when it comes to different dialect it's hard to follow them up.

Aw, but our dialects are not NEARLY as different as yours! ;D
The talking will come with practise, do not worry
Yes, movies are a GREAT way; I got fluent in English by watching them movies in the original language, which is English- Racism is not far, it is in everybody's nature. Detect thy fears, thy prejudices, and live in unison with these fears and every being that does not harm thee.
