Hi, I really love older songs from Bosnia and Serbia, but they tend to be pretty hard to translate. I am not getting much help from my dictionary, and I forgot to buy the "Rjecnik Stranih Rijeci" of Klajic, the latest time I was in Bosnia. What I have heard most of the foreign words in the Bosnian and Serbian language may be found in that dictionary.
Anyways, I will start of with one of the most classic sevdalinkas – Moj dilbere.
Elvira Rahic and the new star Alma Subasic really do beautiful interpretations of this one! But Safet is Safet...

Instead of bazardzan, word pazarlija is used there and I assume it's the same, meaning merchant, trader
pazar - means purchase and pazarlija is the person doing it (purchaser, vendee)
bazar is bazaar
