thanks , but what dialect do they sing ? i suppose its lebanese dialect since this is a lebanese dance , but singers like Nancy Ajram,Nawal El Zoughi etc, donīt sing like this , i know they sometimes sing in Egyptian dialect , but for example this song Leih Moushtalak by singer Nawal El Zoughi is sung in lebanese dialect and she doesnīt sing in the same way that the dakbe songs .
without asking to much could you also put the name of the album
thanks![]()
They are singing in a couple of accents, the Lebanese accent and a Bedouin/Mountain accent. So there are a couple of accents and they can be sung as dabke or other styles. Its not reliant on the accent.
The actual style itself is called 'dabke'. Dabke is a form of dance that is native to Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. There are other versions in the Gulf (from memory). So its an actual style of music that has a style of dance.
Nawal Al Zoughbi, Nancy, Haifa and so on sing in the Lebanese accent but not dabke style.
Names of the albums -
Reda - Nezlet 3al Beydar (Album:3allem Waladak)
Assi Al Hallani - Sawt Al Heda (Daggat Galbi) , Sahr Al Sharq, Khail Al Arab (Both in 'Yemkin'

My pleasureLet me know if you need any more help or have any questions!
i have just one more question : in wich dialect does Fares Karam sing ?
thanks for all the help

Fares Karam has only ever sung in the Lebanese and Bedouin accentsThere was recent talk he was going to sing a song in the Egyptian accent but I am hoping that its not true
All my pleasure, happy to help ^-^
I don't think he'll do an egyptian song since its not his style and if he does I think it's gonna cost him a lot.
?? ???? ?? ????? ????? ?????? ? ??? ??????? ???? ?????
I completely agree Louie. It is not Fares Karam's style at all and he doesnt need to break into the Egyptian market in my opinion.
I really hope Fares doesnt become another sellout.
Thank youfor all the information
