When I got home
A note on my door
"I took my things
I don't want you no more"
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues
Went down to the station
To catch me a train
I'm going out of town
To drown my pain
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues
Bought a bottle of Whiskey
And a handful of pills
Gonna forget my woman
Look for new thrills
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues
I got the blues
I got the Lost My Woman Blues

Hi Doug!
It's The Real You swinging there again. I know your style: compact, straight forward, no bulk anywhere.
Good for accompanying it let us say for what I hear here: a nice, not too weepy guitar, rhythmically strong.
Good to listen to while you're doing your SF walks...
I notice this theme has followed you often: losing a friend. It always hurts, you leave it in the middle whether whiskey and pills will
do you any good. No conclusions. Great stuff! -
Thanks.........I'm glad after ALL THE FEEDBACK IVE GIVEN OVER THE YEARS......I got 1 reply!

I hear these lyrics sung with some reverb. Clearly heard, yet as though coming from an underground tunnel or a large, lonely abandoned industrial space--only the lyrics, not the music. A technique I've not noticed being used lately, but maybe it's time to revive it!

I was singing it from the start.
