ويوم الأحدْ
and on sundays
ولو قتّلونا
and even if they slaughter us
كما قتّلونا
like they did
ولو شرّدونا
and even if the leave us homeless
كما شرّدونا
like they did
لعُدنا غزاة لهذا البلدْ
we would come back to this country as invaders
وعادَ إلى أرضنا الشجرُ
the trees would come back to our soil
وعادَ إلى ليلنا القمرُ
the moon would join our night again
