I could probably get it, but while i'm at work I don't want to bug my managers for it cause their always so busy, but if you go to AE.com and go to the bottom right corner, click on AE radio and you can listen to all the songs that are playing in the store right now and it says who sings it and what the name of the song is. its really helpful.

not all of the songs on the playlist are on ae.com. i checked. my manager is always losing the playlist so i can never get the songs. :-/

i've been hesitant to making a username on here, but i really want to know this one song. i work there, so i can't sit and wait for the name of the song to appear. i'd glance at times, and the background was black. typical music video where the band is playing. looked kinda old. umm, the song itself started off with drumming. and during the chorus a trumpet would play. at the end of the song the trumpet would die out. it either played before or after the gnarls barkley song (the one where they're bugs). it was during spring trans (right after christmas). i'll love you forever if you know the name of the song

I'm looking for this song that I heard in the store today. I don't remember who sang it or what it was called. But the background to the music video was all black and you could only see the guy singing. He had brown hair and maybe some stubble but I'm not sure. I think it was a pop/rock type song. I can't really remember anything about it except that I really liked it. Sorry that it's not much to go on but I'm hoping someone can tell me the name of the song and the artist. Thank you!

It would be SO awesome if someone who works at AE could somehow post the current entire song list that AE stores are playing right now, cuz there's quite a few songs I've heard there recently that I would reallllllly love to find.


just to let you guys know, they usually only list the songs that we play in full on the playlist.. not the ones for the commercials. and i don't know about the rest of you who work there, but my store has really easygoing managers and the playlists/dvds are always laying around in the backroom by the dvd player, by all the random mix cds we listen to while opening and closing (we rarely listen to the after hours ae dvds).

we're doing the spring 2 floorset this weekend so we should (hopefully) start playing a new dvd within the next week or two.

i was in ae a couple months ago and i cant get this song out of my head still it has a guy playing a piano and some of the lyrics i think are like "don't give up..." then i dont no.....help plz

A few months ago? The only two songs I can think of with heavy piano from the Christmas-ish time period were Dark Blue, by Jack's Mannequin, and How to Save a Life, by The Fray (which is still being played, while Dark Blue is not).

I know, and it bothers me, because I still haven't gotten the names of all the songs from this floorset. And I can't find a list anywhere.

This floorset made me happy with lots of Beck, The Fray, Plain White Tees, and other good stuff... All I can remember from the Winter floorset was "Chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side". It made me want to throw myself off a cliff.

well, i heard this cool version of addicted by enrique iglasias (spelling?) in either american eagle or abercrombie..

yea...those songs get old quick...i was happy with the spring 1 playlist...it brought back sum old songs. ie..plain white t's, the von bondies, and jimmy fallon. The xmas one sucked! lol
