by the way, the most foreign women's story in greece is the same, they met a greek, fell in love, went to greece, learnt greek, and after some years they are standing alone, most times with children, if they don't live after a divorce with their fahther.

I am fed up with tears and agony. after two divorces I don't want to share my life with anybody - relationship ok, but I want to live allone, and don't want to be dependen from a man, no matter if he is greek, german, english, french, turkish...

Well, obviously you have your skeletons yet I still believe it is most unfair to compare all men according to yours

I dont know what you mean by "typical Greek", yet I am surely Greek (bad or good).

What I have said with "we always get what we deserve" it is really a general conclusion of life. Like "kismet". And it is actually true.

And to throw my small stone into this huge lake, I believe that in a relation or even a marriage, noone has to be dependant from each other. The man and the woman should have their very own space to breathe outside their relation if you know what I mean. The rest is up to "character differences".
Yet, people make choices and people carry with them their very own experiences. Sometimes it is very difficult to trust someone or to let go. But eventually, it does happen.

You should read the whole story behind your signature You will understand what I am talking about when you face in the eyes your personal abyss. Kazantzakis was a true philosopher, even a heretic one (for our religious friends).

I know the whole story, or let me say like this: one of kazantzakis storys, zorba the greek, I read it in german, english and greek (but don't ask in this case what I understood in the originalversion ) and I admire and like kazantzakis style and kind to tell something a lot

I am between studies these days so I dont have the time to quote it at the moment, yet if you have the chance I strongly recommend you find and read and try to comprehend (it is a very difficult book) "Ascetic" - "Ασκητικη" from Kazantzakis. Your signature* comes from this book and this book is totally different with the novel of Zorbas. Ascetic contains the heart of Kazantzakis philosophy and it is by far his most important work, at least for me. It is the reason the priests wanted to burn him (along with his Christ novel).

but they are differnt, and to realize what and maybe why they are like they are is very exciting

me for example, ten years ago, I was a nice, steady wife, 4 little children, a husband who didnt support me, and never I would have had the idea to learn with 42 years another language, plus to move to a country nearly 2000 km away from my so called home country. my aim was to live in a big family, to stay at home as long as possible with my children - and now I want to be free as much as possible AND going the way I suppose to be the right one - only for me, for nobody else
