KZDEV: the only sentence i have not translated is: ¿Qué me voy a quedar de esto?, which is repeated numerous times, however, it does not make much sense...please check lyrics again.

Also, in the title, the same phrase is noted, but without question mark and without accents, however, note that the meaning is different depending on the accent/question mark so confirm which is correct.

The correct tittle must be "¿Qué me voy a quedar de esto?" with question marks, but the place that I copy it not have question marks.

"¿Qué me voy a quedar de esto?"=What am I going to keep from all this?

I have analyzed the Spanish sentence and pronounced it out-loud and still does not sound right to my ear. Is the sentence gramatically correct or did you just give the equivalent translation?. I believe that either the wrong verb or tense was used.

In my opinion, the correct grammar/verb should have said:

¿qué me voy a guardar (o sacar) de esto? what am i going to keep or take away from this? (the mere change of the verb from quedar to guardar o sacar makes the grammar look/sound correct).

Or, if keeping the same verb:

¿qué me va a quedar de esto? what will be left from this?

I would have used "¿qué me va a quedar de todo esto? but the original sentence is correct too.

I think the use of the first person "..me voy a quedar..." has the meaning of keeping
and the use of the 3th. person "... me va a quedar..." the meaning of remain

Thanks Xiurell; now i don't feel so silly....i spent about 5 minutes trying to make sense of it and i just couldn't make heads or tails the way it was written by the writer.

Yeah, it's a very unusual sentence and it took me a couple of minutes to figure it out too. We use this expression in Mexico, but normally for "tu" not for "Yo", and normally followed by an object: "¿Te vas a quedar con el perfume?" (Are you keeping the perfume?... in this case quedar normally means buy= are you buying the perfume?)

Sometimes people also will ask "¿Con qué te vas a quedar?" (What are you keeping?)

So, all this to say that (at least in Mexico) quedarse con algo=keep something for one self.

Hope I didn't make the confusion even bigger, as I'm not very good at all at explaining
