I need to get a translation to this Chorus in Spanish. We are leaving on a mission trip and would like to be able to use this in a church where we are going to minister.
He Who Began a Good work in you
He Who Began a Good work in you
Will be faithful to complete it
Will be faithful to complete it
He who started the work will be faithful to complete it in you.
Does a translation for this already exist that is melodic?

**Sorry, that's not very melodic at all! Hope you have luck finding an actual Spanish language version of the song** -
He Who Began A Good Work in You
Try this Link to Steve Green singing the song in Spanish:

We sing it all the time here in Venezuela in Spanish. -
You would say: "El quien empezo un buen trabajo en TI" .... not "tu".
Would someone in the forum please explain grammatically why this is so. I know it's not correct but I don't know why. I'm here to learn this kind of stuff.
Muchisimas gracias.
Great song, by the way! -
lyrics :D
here is the lyrics:
Coro:
Aquel quien la buena obra empezo
Aquel quien la buena obra empezo
Será fiel en completarla
El es fiel en completarla
El que la comenzó
Será fiel en completarla en ti
Si la lucha que enfrentas
A tu esperanza tornó
Ya sin paz,
O de tanto esperar
Ya perdiendo
Tu canción estás,
Puedes creer
Que su mano está en ti,
Seguro estás,
Nunca te ha de abandonar,
Eres su gozo
Y su gran tesoro aquí
Coro x2
El es fiel en completarla
El es fiel en completarla
El que la comenzó
Será fiel en completarla en ti
enjoy it.. -
LS, Damarys, & Zahra:
Thanks for your help and corrections. Having spent almost all of the time since I last posted here living in Ecuador and Mexico - my errors are glaring! :-)
I'm kinda embarrassed to see how bad my Spanish was before! -
