Yeah, so does Uruguay, El Salvador, Paraguay, Nicaragua & I keep finding out about more countries that use it too lol.

Haha, well some of those countries use both tu & vos, but I've met some Salvis that use vos & this one girl from Nicaragua too

idk. maybe it's just because they've lived in the US a while and have adapted to how everybody else talks. honestly, i can't tell much difference between any central american or south american accents around here. the only ones i can pick out are Caribbeans (and an Argentinian if i heard it)

I agree. I've heard people from Honduras and Guatemala use 'vos' too. My parents who are Colombian use it with each other as well.

I never taught you "vos", I always used "tú". Second person singular: "tú", second person plural: "Vosotros"/"Ustedes"... "Vosostros" is abbreviated while writing and in some cases: " Vos. "... But here, in América Latina, we don't use "vosotros" (or "Vos. " while writing), most of us use "ustedes". "Vosotros" is very used in Spain.

"Vos" for the second person singular is just used in Argentina and Uruguay till I know... It's not neutral spanish at all, so I didn't taught you that . And you always used "tú" in your exercises . You were used to use "vos" in the second person plural, and I thought you were writing "Vosotros''s abbreviation

I don't like much use vos talking with not Argentinian people, I like more "tú"... but here "tú" is too strange, and I can't lose this habit


PS: I could forget ´, I could write "tu" instead of "tú"

Here in Spain the vos pronoun was replaced for tú although in some regions of Castilla y León is still in use but it's in the process of disappearance

In my work I have continue contact with people of Palma de Mallorca and Madrid (Both in Spain), and all of them use "vosotros" instead of "ustedes", at least when they chat or talk by phone with me

I didn't use Ustedes because I thought it was only from Spain ... and I used Vosotros & Vos as if they were the same pronoun !!!! and I used Vos as an abbreviation !! .. and Why do all of u enter " Tu" in the topic ??? What is its relationship with this topic ??? Ya yo quiero lloraaaaaaaaaaaaaaar
