Hey Loquita, I'm going work know, so I don't have much time...
There aren't letters with accent, we write them with the key that is right in the right side of the Ñ and with the vowel later: type first ´ and later type any vowel: a = á
To use what Zahra is showing you, you have to be sure that the numeric pad is ON, it just work with the numeric pad, and only if it's on.
See you have to work, kisses

hmmmm
Now you have got me wondering about the differences in your translations.
I'm not sure which are correct?
Are both translations correct just a difference in style?
Are the differences regional?
Are you both native speakers?
Thanks Joyce

Urbania both translations are correct. The differences are small, they use different words. But the meaning is the same.
@sirena & @damarys: thank you very much for your comments.
@Loca¡Por-Ba!le: the numeric pad is, in a computer, ot laptop, the peace of the keyboard in right side of the keyboard where are all the numbers. In pad has to be a key with a name like: num lock or something like that. When you press it a light has to turn in or turn off. Make sure it's on, and the alt+num will work![]()
Kisses for all !
Thanks sirena and demarys
I was a little confused.
You cleared that up for me.
Hugs Joyce

@Loca-por-Ba!le: Has you already added the spanish keyboard to your computer? If not, you have to do it before
For windows XP
1.From the START menu select the Control Panel
2.Click on Date, Time, Language and Regional Options
3.Click on either Add Other Languages or Regional and Language Options (they take you to the same place)
4.Select the Language tab
5.Click on the Details button
6.Select the Services tab
7.Click the ADD button
8.In the first box select ES Spanish (traditional sort) or any other flavor of the language you prefer
9.In the second box elect Spanish keyboard
10.Click "OK" twice to close the screens
After you restart your computer you should see the letters "EN" (for English) or "ES" (for Español) on the task bar at the bottom right of your screen (just to the left of the icons on your task bar).
To switch keyboard languages, you merely click on the "EN" or "ES" letters and select the language you wish to use. You may do this in the middle of a document and as many times as you wish.
I hope it helps![]()
First of all ,,, Thank u soooo much for ur big effort
and , yes , I have already done that and I do all of this BUT I don't knowWhere can I find this signal ´ that Mares has told me about ... I can only type this signal : ` it's not the same and when I type this signal firstly and then type the vowel as Mares told me .. It becomes like this : `a , e.g. .....
Do u all type the vowels containing accents this way ?? with the abbreviation ?? I thought when I added the Spanish to my keyboard , I would be able to type all of these letters as the normal letters !!
Hey sweetie:
In spanish keyboard ´is judst right side of the Ñ. All the accents mas be done like this with ´and later the vowel, even it's the same for ü, we have to write firs ¨and late (without spaces, when you press ´or ¨you don't see it in the screen, and then you have to press the vowel). I'm usuing the spanish disrtibution "Español-España" (Spanish-Spain or something like that as keyboard configuration. With this configuration, in the key that is at right side of the Ñ you have both ´and ¨(but this one pressing shift key at the same time).
Let mt know it you could do it.
P.S. You don't made me tired at all swwetie.
It's that simple as Mares says, just type ´ and next any vowel áéíóú
