The whole song is filled with metaphors and strange choices of words, so even a very accurate translation will probably miss some of them.
Taksin katolla vilkkuu
Flashing on the roof of the taxi
Yön ainoa valopilkku
The only spot of light in the night
Tuhto topattu mutteriveneen odottaa
The padded bench of the nut-boat awaits (Nut as in hardware, nut & bolt. The nut-boat is a metaphor for the taxi.)
Minä menen
I'm going
Esiin tunkevat aatokset sameat
Blurry thoughts force their way through
Valhetta vatvovat karkeat sanat
Crude words repeat lies
Paksu lompakko
A thick wallet
Helppo on lempeä pyytää
It's easy to ask for love
Kerjääjää
The beggar
Hallasilmien himmerrys hyytää
Is chilled by the cold glow of frosty eyes (I'm not sure "himerrys" is even a real word. Cold glow is the best translation I can come up with.)
Valoviikatteet taloja niittää
The scythes of light cut down houses
Käsi hamuaa lautturin viittaa
The hand reaches for the ferryman's cape
En osaa elämää syyttää, en kiittää
I can not blame life, nor thank it
Se jääköön
I'll leave it behind
En piittaa
I don't care
Kohdusta hautaan
From the cradle to the grave (literally: from the womb to the grave)
Ui uuttera lautta
The tireless ferry swims
Tuhannen kapakan kautta
Through a thousand pubs
