hm...
"setiti se" is "to remember" something that happened in the past, while "dosetiti se" is to "come up with" something/an idea (related to something in the future
"Dosetila sam se kako da zaradimo puno para"
"Setila sam se gde sam ostavila novcanik!"
dosetiti se = to contrive; get an idea; to think of; figure out;
setiti se = to remember; to recall

Evo glupog pitanja... kako bi preveli:
"you make me feel (like).... " -
-
why is it "kako bi preveli" and not "kako biste preveli"?

I don't know pthalo lol I just said it like that... Maybe someone else can make some sense out of it
Yes but.. well, the reason I asked is this song: click and the translation really doesn't sound right

Yeah different as in - besmisleno
-
I adore this song! And his voice, oh God!
Možda može da se prevede jednostavno:
You make me feel like ... zbog tebe se osećam kao/ da sam...
You make me feel like I am young again - zbog tebe se osećam (kao da sam) ponovo mlad -
Pa ti si to već prevela tako? (sad ćeš da mi spojiš ova dva posta, jel
)

well, it looks to me too like it has a meaning, i'm just not sure what it is. it might be from čuti, to hear. će is future tense. and se makes it a reflexive verb. "he will hear himself" or something. but it's just a guess.

2. "Мали" = "small; little (one(s)); short" (not necessarily a guy but can also mean = a boy
4. "Дечаци"= boys
7."Дух" = spirit; ghost (soul is душа)
8. "Онај прави" = "the one" (a guy who is the (right) one)
10. "Чуће се" = it will be heard (you will find out about it soon enough) -

hmmm
that's a good question and I don't think I can come up with a good answer!
Heres what a dictionary says : click but..
maybe (just maybe) - I was totally smitten - totalno sam se oduzela
smite
1. jako udariti, lupiti
2. spopasti; obuzeti; smitten with love = zaljubljen -
can "totalno sam se oduzela" mean "zaljubila sam se"?
moj rečnik kaže:
smitten (smitn) a. 1) pogoden, 2) uzet, paralizovan 3) savladan 4 obuzet, poražen
pet nepoznate reči (samo mi je paralizovan poznat).
pogoditi - to hit (oh, i knew that one, but i knew it as in "you guessed right")
uzeti - to take (i knew that too) :/
savladiti - to overcome, to conquer (can you use savladana for this?)
obuzeti - to fasten upon, to creep over (ne razumem)
poražen - crushed (that sounds tužno kinda)
and you said spopasti, to attack to seize.
you can be smitten with a girl (zaljubljena, but you must have more words for it), or smitten with an illness (has to be a serious one, you can't say you were smitten with a cold. smitten with the flu works though.), i've never connected smitten with smite in my mind, but i guess they're connected.
imam još petnaest minuta da odlučim da li da idem do nonstopa. u pravu si da valjda ne bi trebalo, ali šta ću kad sam smitena.I'm stronger than the tricks played on your heart.
