Aemeen Ta'ala

Hello,

I came across this song and wanted to know what the words mean. I was told it was Egyptian Arabic.

Aemeen ta'ala ya ra beel moo ba-ruk.
Ash waq na zae dat lee hathal lee qa.

I think the transcription is kind of strange... for example "moo ba-ruk" is supposed to be one word? = mubarak?
Hopefully someone can figure it out.
I understand that ta`ala means "exalted".

Aemeen = Amin? or is it something else?

Do you have the song because I'm thinking along the same lines of you with it being "mubarak" and so on

P.S. the refrain is simply
"Aemeen ta'ala ya Rabee Yasua"

I don't have a recording of it, sorry... I've searched for it online and haven't found it.

it means : we're standing//going, come oh lord
(it's like a calling for the Lord, I think)

Ash waq na zae dat lee hathal lee qa
it's :
أشواقنا زائدة لهذا اللقاء
(it's in fus7a) it means: our longing//anticipation for this meeting is increasing

Ok, so it doesn't have anything to do with "amin" (amen) or "ta`ala" (exalted)?

aemeen : قائمين
amin =امين
I think it is the first one in the line, it means we're going.. I think that's the one used in the line requested..
and about "ta'ala' and "ya ra beel moo ba-ruk">> I have no idea.. there must some mistakes in the lines coz I didn't get anything from them!

for some reason it looks like "ya rabee el mubarak" to me?

yeah well, actually now that you mentioned it, it kinda makes sense! I guess it's the only way that the line would make sense!

I just found out there is a recording online: At http://www.izibongo.com, double-click on #3 on the song list. This is basically just the first verse and chorus... apparently there are a few more verses.

It turns out, I have a copy of this CD! and I'm told it has the Arabic in the liner notes, along with an English version. I will try to post the Arabic here (first verse and chorus) after I get home. Sorry I didn't figure this out before starting this topic! Still, I appreciate having help with the Arabic words because the English version is not word-for-word, and I wanted to understand the Arabic.
