    "Leru-i Doamne"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWeBzBi4fr4

Aduc vâscul de noroc pentru casă
    Leru-i, Doamne
Şi tămâie să-i dăm foc, să miroasă
    Leru-i, Doamne.

În odăi cu busuioc şi cerci albe
    Leru-i, Doamne
Să presară flori de soc pentru fete
    Leru-i, Doamne.

Bradul casei îmbrăcat cu orfande/ofrande (don't know which it is)
    Leru-i, Doamne
Ca un fiu de împărat din poveste
    Leru-i, Doamne.

Fete şi femei gătesc ca în soare
    Leru-i, Doamne
Pentru un ospăţ domnesc de Crăciun sfânt
    Leru-i, Doamne.

Ne aşteaptă pe la porţi gospodarii
    Leru-i, Doamne
    Semnul tainicelor sorţi se arată
    Leru-i, Doamne.

    De Crăciunul românesc se adună
    Leru-i, Doamne
Toţi cei care te iubesc, să petreacă
    Leru-i, Doamne.

Se aud clopote din cer, bate toaca
    Leru-i, Doamne
    Pentru tine leru-i ler,
Că şi tu român eşti, Doamne

    I guess.. nobody did...so as i promised - i'm here and i translated

    "Într-un miez de noapte"
    In a midnight

Într-un miez de noapte lină, înstelată
On a smooth star lighted night
Îngeri de lumină la păstori se arată
Light angels show themselves to shepherds

Şi pe când păstorii tare se-nspăimântă
And while the shepherds got seriously frightened
Îngerii, cu grabă, dulce le cuvântă:
Angels, with a rush, with sweet words:

"Nu vă fie teamă, căci v-aduc de sus
"Don't be afraid cause I bring for you from above
Vestea că pe lume s-a născut Isus
The news that Jesus was born to the world

Îmbrăcat cu slavă, dar fără de palate
Clothed with glory, but without palaces
    Care mântui-va lumea de păcate
Whom will save the world from sin

Mergeţi dar în staul să-L vedeţi şi voi
Go to the stable so you will see him yourselves
Buni păstori şi vrednici păzitori de oi"
Good shepherds and worthy sheep guardians"

Şi s-au dus păstorii unde li s-a spus
And the shepherds went to where they were told
Şi-au văzut în iesle pe pruncul Isus
and saw the baby Jesus in the manger

Prunc sărac în scutec de sărac la fel
Poor baby in poor diapers as well
Şi-au crezut păstorii cei dintâi în el
And the shepherds believed first in him

    Lui Isus atuncea tainic se-nchinară
They devoted to Jesus in secret
Magii ce veniră dintr-o altă ţară
The kings which would come from another country

Şi-au pornit să spună vestea-n lung şi-n lat
And they started to tell the news-n long and wide
Că Isus născutul lumii îi e împărat
That Jesus the born of the world is an emperor

Însă una magii n-au ştiut să spună
But one thing the kings couldn't say
Că Isus purta-va şi de spini cunună
That Jesus worn a crown of thorns also
" Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive. "

That's ok, because 'leru-i ler' can't be translated into English. it is a popular expression used in traditional Romanian carols a long time ago and the old version was kept. So, it's a sort of very old 'la la la'

LE:I saw countingstars translated before me...Luckily, I have the diacritics .
Regarding your question, the song refers to the actual Christmas night

Seara de Crăciun frumos,/The beautiful Xmas evening
    Seara de Crăciun,/The Xmas evening
    Mare bucurie-o fost,/There was a great joy
Seara de Crăciun frumos/The beautiful Xmas evening

    Seara de Crăciun,/The Xmas evening

    Seara de Crăciun,/The Xmas evening

Seara de Crăciun frumos/The beautiful Xmas evening

Când de ziuă se făcea/At the crack of dawn
    Seara de Crăciun,/The Xmas evening
Maica pe Isus năştea/Mary was giving birth to Jesus
Seara de Crăciun frumos/The beautiful Xmas evening

Pe fan moale si curat/On soft and clean hay
    Seara de Crăciun,/The Xmas evening
Pe al'* nostru împărat/To our emperor
Seara de Crăciun frumos/The beautiful Xmas evening

*micuţ means little, micuţi is the plural form of micuţ, so we are using the singular form in this case
*the form used nowadays is "nu a vrut" or the short form "n-o vrut", but the singer (little Cleopatra Stratan) has a Moldavian heritage, so she sings the way she speaks, using some specific forms of some words. So both versions are correct, because "n-o vrut" is a short form of "nu o vrut", and "o vrut" is an ols form, now used in villages.
*"al" means our, while "o" means one, or is a form of the pronoun "her"

I want to congratulate you for your understanding of Romanian. Cleopatra Stratan has a funny Moldavian kind-of accent and it was hard for me, a native speaker to understand exactly what she's saying in some of her songs. Well done, I'll try to translate more this days!
