I have a song that my mum used to sing to me when i was little. I've recently tried looking it up on the net but didn't have much luck. Was hoping someone here might have the answer.
Here are the lyrics:
Over the plains with the emu's
That's where i long to go
Snuggled up warm in his feathers
Warmer than most kids i know
Wouldn't we go along swiftly
Faster than any train
But when it comes to my bedtime
I want my mummy again.
Lol I know it's a bit poxy but i have fond memories of my mum singing this to me when i was tiny and it would be great if anyone had any info on it.

Been thinking the same thing for ages. My mum sung it to me as well. When i found this i nearly died. How could i forget all those pointless hours in front of the piano. Mum was a teacher and without adout i was her worst student! Hope this link helps.
