Default SOLVED - searching for a greek song (old one) (big thanx!)

    Hi!

I`m searching for a song without success for days now, tried to google the lyrics (part of them) without any results. Maybe someone here can help me!

    Thanks in advance!

Here you go (sorry for mistakes, my greek is not so good), itīs a man who sings it and it sounds quite old and "classical".

    me len berbadi kai bekri
    xenichtiko me mia ri (??)
    Charto mu tro kai ...
    me lene kai alanari

    Ma then me miasi tipota
    sīafti tin kinonia
    oso i parchi thanatos
    sito i alithia
    ma then me miasi tipota
    sīafti tin kinonia
    oso i parchi thanatos
    sito i alithia (spoken: alitia)

I hope someone can identify it and tell me title and singer, would be too nice!

Thanks and please forgive my "broken" greek, Iīm not bilingual, too bad.

    LG

Does really no one have an idea which song this is?

Maybe further informations could help. I think the song should be older, itīs not a classical song but not from the last years, the singer has a dark and unique voice. From the way he pronounces the words, f.e. alithia (Iīd say alithia with "th", he sings "alitia" with "t", I hope this isnīt an other word which I donīt know) I would say that heīs either singing in a greek dialect or the song is older than I thought. Reminds me of classic old music you would hear in Taverns.

If I knew how to put that song or a part of it online so you could hear it I would but I have no idea, unfortunately.

Please help, if you can! Iīm going crazy on that...

    Thanks!

    M.

Well, it is another word alright. :P It's not alithia but alitia.

I believe you're talking about "Zito i alitia" ("Ζήτω η αλητεία") by Spyros Zagoreos (Σπύρος Ζαγοραίος). Yeah, it's quite an old song.

    It's funnier in Enochian

Thank you so much, evcharisto para pouli!!! Finally I know who sings it and the name of the song!

And thanks for the info on the word, I`ll keep that in mind, thought he sings about "truth" which my mum pronounces "alithia" (northern Greece, round Saloniki).

    Thank you!!! Youīre the best!

    Happy greetings,
