First I want to tell you that this song is combined of mixing of a group of popular classic Egyptian songs (love ..folk ..religion & even patriot) , each part is with its original melody .., she is expressing her homesickness & nostalgia ..

There is a version of baladi ya baladi for Sabah but I'm not sure she was the first one to sing it. By the way she was born in 1923 so she is 83 yo now !
