cel care vorbeşte=the one that talks
cel care nu mai vorbeşte= the one that doesn't talk anymore

celui ce i-ai oferit bilete - the one you offered tickets .
celui cui i-ai oferit bilete=the one you offered tickets


No difference in this context.
If "cui" is alone means other thing.
cui=tack .......Am nevoie de un cui.=I need a tack.
or...
cui=to who...Cui i-ai dat bani?=To who you give money.

Pardon for my interruption... In Romanian, if someone is speaking to you formally, you would say "Ce mai faceți" to ask how they are. But when you reply, someone has told me you should say "Bine, dar dumneavoastră?"

I thought you should say "Și" rather than "Dar"...

Şi and Dar mean the same thing in this context. But when it comes to formal speaking, I'm not 100% sure if one is greater than the other.

Yes.
I would say:
Bine,dar dumneavoastră?
Or
Bine...şi dumneacoastră ce mai faceţi_
(Here make a little pause after "bine")

But the first one is used the most and looks more formal

Bine şi dumneavoastră?=You are doing well also?

And in slang its hmm little funny.
"Ce dracu faci mah coaie?" =)) (What the hell are you doing testicles) The most used.

And country slang =))
"Ce beleşti" (What do you blow?)

Nice to meet you Anna and Mike. Amândoi vorbiţi foarte bine, iar faptul că mai faceţi greşeli e oarecum interesant, pentru că vă menţine activi în ceea ce priveşte limba română. Bună alegere să învăţaţi şi prin cântece care vă plac, dă rezultate aproape în toate limbile.

salut dragonfly, yes, mă numesc sau numele meu. I mixed the two up at the same time. How do you say dyslexic in romanian :P


Salut Alexia, vreau să învaţ cântece. E o idee bună. Am încercat să memorez Zece de la florin chilian. Am avut sperat să cânt si să cânt la pian dar niciodată nu am avut timpul suficient.

Vorbesti celelalte limbi? De unde locuieşti?
