Solved: African/World music with stitched syllables
Ok, this song would play when the helpdesk at my company would put you on hold.
It's a very motivational song that would be great for waking up to.
There were vocals in it, but they were stitched together. They didn't form real words, they were just single syllables. It gave an "African" feeling. I remember a prominent female "voice", but the stitching gave the impression there were multiple singers. There were a lot of vocal rising and falls. The composer/editor had a white guy's name.
I know it's this is a shaky description at best, but this is driving me nuts. Thank you.
