P.s Spanish and french are actually kinda similar I think I'm going to forget which is which! The whole el/la and le/la, un/una and un/une and él/ella and il/elle and aaaaaaaaaaa

Another question, what is the difference between Ceci and c'est? When do I use ceci est un...and when would I use c'est un...? No difference?

If you want to break it:

Si = If
parfois = sometimes
tu = you
as = have
du = some
mal = pain
à = when
avancer = going ahead

"If sometimes you have some pain when going ahead"
I know it doesn't make sense literally, but it's a french expression:
"avoir du mal à" = find it hard to

So it would actually be:
Si parfois tu as du mal à avancer = If sometimes you find it hard to go ahead
