    first step: believe in yourself

"To be successful, we must first believe we can"

To be successful in school, you must believe in yourself and in your abilities; the following is a short story to illustrate that point:

Two high school athletes get ready to compete against each other. They're the same height and have more or less the same athletic abilities. Everybody is sure that it will be an exciting competition.

The first athlete comes out. He seems confident and he does warm-ups and stretches out while he waits. The people around him hear him say to himself, "I'm ready. I can do it."

The second athlete comes out. He slowly drags his feet with his head down and plays with his watch while he waits. Those around him hear him mutter, "I'm dead."

Two athletes of the same size with the same abilities: everyone knows who's going to win even before the competition begins.

Whether you're an athlete getting ready for a competition or a student tackling a difficult subject, it's important that you believe in yourself. You should recognize the talent and abilities that you possess and should know and believe that you can be successful.

Now take a minute and on the next table write the courses you're attending; on the grade column write highest grade you believe you can get during this period.
The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.

Verb endings in Spanish are always -ar, -er and -ir

With plenty of irregulars, but for the most part there is a pattern:

    Ar
    o
    as
    a
    amos
    áis
    an

    ER/IR
    o
    es
    e
    emos/imos
    éis/ís
    en

And you take the stem of the verb (the verb minus ar, er, or ir) and attach endings.

    To speak- hablar
    I speak- hablo
    They speak- hablan
    To eat- comer
    You eat- comes
    We eat- comemos

And so on and so forth, except stem changes and letter switches in the abundant irregulars... Which you can learn later
