True love never existed.
Those who are blind enough,
constantly misconstrued,
and ignorant enough,
are the people I despise.
True love is a myth.
Created by those lonely enough,
constantly by them selves,
and shallow enough,
to sacrifice themselves for nothing.
"But of course it's real.
It's out there and you know it."
I wanna make you squeal,
and silence you ever moment.
But I won't try...
because it's not my mind.
Trust can't be tamed.
It's enchanting enough,
and believable enough,
to make you go insane.
Trust can't be tamed.
"But of course it's real.
It's out there and you know it."
I wanna make you squeal,
and silence you ever moment.
But I won't try...
because it's not my mind.
Maybe the right way,
has yet to be shown to me.
Maybe we're all wrong,
and maybe that's how it's suppose to be.
Just don't ruin my fun...
because there's nothing I want more.
I need someone...
like I had before...

Altho this is in direct opposition to my own beliefs (I know myself and it's not a lie) I really like this. It's a brilliant piece of work, you lay it all down from wall to wall, and you did it very smoothly. Really nice lyric, another one that I'd love to hear in song.
There is no glamour in sudden death, and nobody ever wins a war.

Well, thank you very much! And about it not existing, I wrote back when I was in severe depression, and I this is no longer how I feel. Maybe a bit lost from love? It's out there, but I haven't found it. Anyways, I thought it was still pretty good so I posted it. Thanks for your response!

As of what you said, your emotions and thoughts shine through. You accomplished that amazingly. It is very much against what I choose to believe, yet there is truth in it that I have felt before.

Perfect summation I think.
And as Nanashi said, everyone's been there.
But there's also something here that I missed grasping the first time: It seems like there could be a turn of thought (sentiment) in the last two lines? I need someone... like I had before... to me that doesn't sound like just wanting 'fun'. But I'm not being critical at all, it's just that this is such an interesting expression and it opens a philososphical door that could hold me in conversation for hoursThere is no glamour in sudden death, and nobody ever wins a war.
