HELP, looking since years!
I'm looking since years for a song. Guess it's from the 80's or 90's. I heard it 2 times on the radio, don't know the lyrics or a name. I only got a bit of the melody, I tried to play it on the e-piano

I think it could be a new wave or synth pop song.
Does anyone reconize the melody???
Thanks!

Thanks for the answers unfortunately it's none of the song. I went pretty much thru every famous new wave band to find the song. I think the singer of the band what I'm looking for was a man with a very high pinch voice, but I could be wrong. But thanks for the song from Alphaville, didn't hear that before!

Can you play some more notes of its melody?
The most charming creatures on this earth. The only women who can show what they feel and, they do feel.
Stunning feeling...to just meet them.

It's pretty much all what I remember. The part what I'm playing, the melody is the singing part.

No it's not "too shy". It must be a one hit wonder or a not so famous song, because I heard it a 2 or 3 times in the radio and that's it and that was 10 years ago. I'm guessing it's a 80's or 90's song, I could be wrong.

Thanks for all the links
I am from germany, I heard the song in the radio, so I guess it's a european band for sure. Alphaville is from germany and the song comes really close, I'm still thinking it's not the song what I'm looking for, I already checked all the covers of the song. The song what I'm looking for is a slow song. A-ha is a great band, I grow up with their music, I got all the CD's
Thanks

My suggestion have all been told (Depeche Mode, Alphaville and Camouflage). Camouflage was a one hit wonder band. Very famous also that time and men singing wiht high voices
BRONSKI BEAT
maybe Duran Duran?
Howard Jones "What is love"
what about this one: Real life "Send me an angel" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6zBjYIyz-0
they also had a 2nd topten hit "Catch me I'm falling" in Germany
Do you remember any lyrics?
I really hope we find "your" song. I read this thread this morning and since then I am thinking about it.

I loved living in Germany! We were in Bavaria, a small village near Aschaffenburg. Do you know it? Are you from that area (if you wish to reveal). Nice to hear from Germany again. Have quite a few friends there from various areas. . . . Yes, a-ha was so popular in Europe and internationally, but it never seemed to reach us on the radio in the USA. (Unless I was in a cocoon at the time!!) But Morten Harken and a-ha are great. . . . You are getting a good response to your query; surely soon you will get a lead to that crazy-making "I KNOW I heard that song--it's not in my imagination--is it!??" thinking!!
I assure you, you are not crazy! We all feel that way when we're searching and searching . . .
