    I know there are others out there looking for this.... it is the promo for the Mentalist that has been running for a few weeks now with a piano and a male voice singing: I know what you think, when I think of you.

    It's driving me crazy! Some people have said it is ben folds "you don't know me" which is close, but not right... any help is great!

    I found a reference to a song called "I Know What You Think" by Pat (Patrick James Hibbert) which was released in 2008. But I cannot find additional info on this artist or his song.

    I did actually have a good look around the other day, but endless different promos and the relevant one being removed for some reason made it hard.

    It was much easier to chase down a sample for atmaster. It doesn't sound like Ben folds though. I did find a sample of the artist Patrick James Hibbert under Papa Stackin.

    IKnowWhatYouThink_Papa Stackin.mp3 (Expletives contained within vocals.)

    I listened to the sample and that's not even close to the song! I guess I will have to live with the fact that maybe this song was just written for the promo and be done with it. Thanks for looking around though.

    If only there was a mp3 sample floating around somewhere. Every mp3 of a promo I could find was nothing like what you were looking for. Anything that was related to it was only posted at youtube, which they seemed set to nicely remove each version. (Yes, yet another reason I detest youtube, especially since they made a move to stop services that offer low quality mp3s to those who have next to no bandwidth. )

    Nope, not even close. I think this is a song used on the finale promo, but this was a song from a looooooong time ago. I have just resigned myself to the fact that I won't find it.

    I've been looking forever for that song. I still have an episode of "NCIS" saved on my DirecTV DVR with that promo and song on it. It was real catchy--"I know what you think!" The promo ended with Lisbon saying, "It's fascinating, the way your mind works."

    As Fence Sitter says, apparently CBS get offended when people like their programmes, and take down everything from YT. BUT, if you can extract the audio from your media, you can upload it to a site such as http://www.4shared.com/ and then link it here.
