Please, feel free to complete lines (...) or correct my mistakes !
e.g. : Verse 2, line 3 > blah blah...
I have already found these :
The Bushman of Bunyip Billabong
Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong
Right in the heart of Bunyip country
And he said to himself, when he got to the water hole :
"This place is a dump ! I know where I'd rather be !"
Out came the junk food, wrapped in plastic packaging
Tin cans and bottles, one, two, three !
All of his rubbish was thrown into that billabong
"Who gives a toss [...] the bloody scenery ?" (bear: supporter)
Then he turned his music on to [...] out all the native birds
Cracked out the volume as loud as can be
"Can't stand the maggies" he mattered by the billabong
Maybe now I get some bloody privacy
Down came some kangaroos to drink at the water hole
Up jumped the camper and shot them with glee
He let them to rot on the banks of the billabong
"Bloody roos oughta think before they come near me !"
Slowly but surely something stirred in that billabong
It [...] and it wallowed rather eerily
A truely hideous creature marching from the water hole
"Some truth !" yelled the camper, "What the bloody heck is he ?"
"How dare you come just to keep by my water hole ?"
Growled away [...] bunyip with great ferocity
He seized the helpless camper and dragged him to the water hole
"You'll come a-swimmin' in my swamp with me !"
And his ghost must be heard as you pass by that billabong
Look after the bush plants, the animals and the trees
And see that you've done to the [...]
"Or you'll come a-swimmin' in my swamp with me !"
Thanks to you !
