I was running in circles, day to day
I had to have everything my way
So out of joint, hard to please
Then your love brought me to my knees

I feel Connected, Connected to you
No more rejection or feeling blue
Now I'm protected, a hand in a glove
I feel Connected to your love

I was way on the outside, lost in space
A refugee from the human race
I felt detached, I needed more
Then your love opened up the door

I feel Connected, Connected to you
No more rejection or feeling blue
Now I'm protected, a hand in a glove
I feel Connected to your love

I look around and you're here with me
    I've got a partner, You're no fantasy
I finally care for somebody else
A part of something larger than myself

    solo

I was living in chaos, I hated life
I had my share of trouble and strife
So out of joint, hard to please
Then your love brought me to my knees

I feel Connected, Connected to you
No more rejection or feeling blue
Now I'm protected, a hand in a glove
I feel Connected to your love

I feel Connected, I feel Connected
I feel Connected, I feel Connected
No more rejection, no no no
I feel Connected, I feel Connected
    No more feeling blue

Very beautiful lyrics. I think a lot of people can relate to them.

Yes! The music is very fine too. The funny thing is that I had something completely different in mind when I first read the lyrics. I imagined a mellow late sixties song like Glenn Campbell's Wichita Lineman or Harry Nilsson's Everybody's Talking. But the song you have recorded is great in it's own right. Up tempo country with a rock 'n roll flavour. It got stuck in my head ever since I have played it. Well done!

Great job Jim. I like your style and really like the chorus.
